Many different business types whether they are a hospital, shopping centre, library or hotel require visitor parking. Each of these businesses will have preferential treatment for their staff and it can be a hassle to have visitors attempting to park in spaces reserved for staff. In some instances, if there are no visitor parking signs to label an area, visitors may in fact park in places that cause blockages and obstructions.
With this in mind, it is important to have a clear area for visitors to park. The sign needs to be large and give clear directions as to where this area is. If it is a large area then a simple sign at the entrance will suffice. However in some instances, the staff and visitor parking will be located in the same area so it may be prudent to have individual signage on all car parking spaces that are specifically for use by visitors.
