Practice signs

Firm and practice signs may advertise a lawyer or a health care facility, for example. For both, there needs to be a clear sign explaining what the business is about at the front of the building. Inside, practices and firms tend to have a number of different departments, so it is also important to have clear signage allowing visitors to find their way around the building.

Some Options

Out Front

The front should clearly display all information such as opening hours, the name of the firm or practice, and of course a phone number or other contact details such as a website. If it is a small practice, then the names of the people working can also be displayed at the front, which provides a quick rundown of all the information people need as a starting point.

Getting Inside

While smaller firms can advertise their employees out front, larger ones might have a number of different departments contained in the one building. Halls and doors should be clearly labelled as to the department and the staff who work there. Directional signs are a must.

On the Door

Also, office doors should be clearly labelled with the name and profession of the person working there, again to provide clarity for the customer.
