Cafeterias are usually located within a larger building, quite often an office block or hospital. This means that the location is very important. Bearing this in mind it is necessary to have directional cafeteria signs so that visitors and employees alike can find their way to it. These signs should be consistent throughout the building. Once in the cafeteria itself it can be helpful to have information signs such as where to line up, where to deposit waste, cashier zone and places to leave used dishes and trays. A large menu board behind the food counter is also a must.
