Do you want a series of signs, all unique? Our file import facility allows you to import a complete series (with figures and/or letters) quickly and easily instead of manually adding signs to the basket. An import may be preferable if you have a number series from 001 to 500, or an order for a large number of name badges.
If you want to order signs in various designs (different fixing methods, colour, typeface or text size), we recommend that you group the different signs and import them in batches.
What does the file look like?
In order to successfully import the file, it must be designed in accordance with our template. This template is easy to download and fill in. The template consists of three columns (Row 1, Row 2 and Row 3), which will constitute the rows on the sign. Depending on how many rows your sign will have, you can choose to leave some fields empty. The file can be in XLSX, CSV and ODS format.
Follow these steps:
1. Start by designing a sign on the Design Page. You can do this using the tools on the left. This sign will act as a template for how the other signs in your series will look. Don’t forget to select the fixing method before you import the file. You can also choose the typeface and text size. Once you are satisfied with the results and the appearance of the sign, you can start your import.
2. Do you want duplicates of a series or maybe three or four of each sign? In the box on the left you can indicate the required number.
3. Now it is time to import your file! Double-check that the file fulfils the import requirements (see above). Click on “Scroll”, then upload the required file and finish by clicking on “Load file”.
4. Voilà! Your signs have been generated and you will be taken to the basket where you will see a summary of your signs. Are you happy with your design? Continue to the checkout and place an order.
Is there something wrong or do you now want to change the text on the sign(s)? No problem! Click on “Edit” for the relevant sign and make any adjustments you want.
