The ADA does not classify ‘van’ as the usual people carrier or SUV. Rather, ‘van’ is used to signify purpose designed or modified vehicles which are intended to carry individuals in a wheelchair. As such, the specific parking space for these types of van can differ in size to regular accessible parking spaces. As a result, it is necessary to specify via signage whether the space is van accessible.
Van accessible parking signs need to include the International Symbol of Accessibility with an accompanying piece of text saying ‘Van Accessible’. Our van accessible parking signs are well made and eye-catching, as well as adhering to regulations
